I.                    Choose the right form of the verb to be and the right form of the possessive pronouns:

1. It is your book?

5. That is not my book. My is new.

II. Use articles (a/an, the) where necessary:

1.Yesterday I saw a film. The film wasn’t very interesting.

3.My brother’s friend doesn’t have a dog.

4.I don’t know a name of this student.

5.His brother is doctor.

6.Last summer we visited Crimea.

III.Put these nouns into plural form:

IV. Rewrite the sentences ,using the Possessive case of the nouns:

1.The friend’s books.

2.The brother’s teacher.

3.The worker’s new tools.

4.The women handbags.

5.My brother’s children at home.

V. Open the brackets:

1.Winter is cold season of the year.

2.My brother is as tall as my father.

3.The Baltic Sea is not so warmer as the Black Sea.

4.The book is better than the film.

5.It is one of the important questions of our conference.

6.Who knows him better than you?

VI. Ask all possible questions:

1.Our teacher knows several foreign languages.

  VII. Open the brackets:

1.Where you were yesterday?- I was at home the whole day. How strange. I called you up at two o’clock , but nobody answered.- Oh, I was in the garden. I read your book and did not hear the telephone.

2.Where Boris?- He plays chess with his friend.

3.Where your brother works?- He works at an Institute.

4.My brother can skate very well. He skates every Sunday.

5.I’ll do it if I have enough time tomorrow.

МОЙ РАБОЧИЙ ДЕНЬ.

По выходным я обычно встаю почти в семь часов. Я не люблю рано вставать, но должен, потому что у меня много работы, которую надо сделать в течение дня.
Я делаю зарядку, заправляю кровать, умываюсь, одеваюсь и иду на кухню, чтобы позавтракать. Обычно моя мама готовит завтрак для меня, но иногда я делаю это сам. Я не люблю большие завтраки, я предпочитаю чашку кофе и бутерброд.
Потом я иду в школу. Это довольно далеко от моего дома, и я еду туда на автобусе. До 4 часов учусь. Когда прихожу домой я обедаю.
После, я делаю уроки и некоторую работу по дому. Я подметю пол, убираю пыль с мебели и чищю ковры пылесосом. Иногда мама просит меня пройтись по магазинам или помочь ей на кухне.
Потом у меня есть свободное время. Я иду гулять с моим другом, или смотрю телевизор, читаю книги или играю в компьютерные игры. После я ужинаю с семьей. Я очень люблю вечер, потому что все мы собраемся вместе после работы и учебы и имеем возможность поговорить и обсуждить наши семейные дела.
Обычно я ложусь спать в одиннадцать часов.
