Краткое описание

It is no secret that countries have always been involved in active exchange through political, economic and cultural ties. We can hardly remember any country that hasn’t undergone the stages of war, peace-making, trading, etc. All those actions are never done in isolation as almost every state is surrounded with some other ones and it’s absolutely natural that they have been collaborating for centuries.

     CONCLUSION

     The major reason for government involvement in cooperation is concerned with the welfare of their citizens and the overall welfare of their country. This relates to such areas as economic stability, protection and natural security, public health and employment. Cooperation can occur in all of these areas, so governments are concerned that it is regulated and directed so as to ensure maximum benefit for the country and the negative factors are minimized. Cooperation is catalyst of regional economy.

     Cooperation

  • leads to the development of trade, construction, farming, communication, service;
  • expands international contacts, strengthens mutual understanding and confidence between people of different cultures;
  • helps to understand that the world we live in belongs to everybody and peace on earth is everybody’s concern.

     People should unite their efforts to preserve our planet for ourselves and for future generations. Peace through reason and respect for other nations is more lasting.

     The Republic of Belarus urges to build a new, fairer and more balanced system of relations in the world and search for reasonable compromises. The place of a state in a new system of international relations should not be determined by its military force, political or economic resources, but by a real contribution to addressing the issues of current importance, responsible behaviour in the international arena, a responsible attitude towards mentality, culture, political and religious views of its partners, honesty and humanism. Belarus is guided by these principles in its foreign policy and expects a similar attitude from the other participants of international relations. Although Belarus is a young sovereign state, it has already shown itself as a serious and responsible member of the international community, deeply involved in setting the issues of global importance. The interests of Belarus include the development of full-fledged cooperation with Great Britain.

     The Republic of Belarus is an attractive country for Great Britain and for other foreign investors because of

  • advantageous geographical location,
  • an access to the markets of the European Union and Russia,
  • economic, social and political stability,
  • high human potential development ,
  • low level of corruption,
  • absence of regional and national conflicts.

     Cooperation between Great Britain and the Republic of Belarus is the starting point of our future collaboration.

     To conclude, we want to underline that the present situation calls for the need to greater international cooperation, which requires concerted efforts by international organizations, regional cooperation and national governments, in combating the global financial crisis. Regional cooperation must be coherent with national policy and work hand-in-hand with international cooperation.
