indefinitely the issuance of licenses for the production of films and
TV movies based on novels and plays by the writer. Renewal of licenses
will be held after the classic detective stories will be radically redesigned

In March 2002, anti-racist society from Hanover said that the name of
one of the most famous novels of Agatha Christie's "Ten Little
Indians" offensive to black people (Ten little niggers), as it used
the word "nigger", which is now, according to leaders of this
society, it is unacceptable. According to the EFA, in German title of
the novel tepr will sound like "Und dann gab's keines mehr"
("And no one left"). In September 2003, in the archives of
the British Library has found an unknown play by Agatha Christie, written
back in 1925 - "The Secret of Castle Chimniz" .The play will
be played for the first time in October 2003 in the Canadian Theatre
Vertigo Mystery (Calgary), whose artistic director, and helped to find
a forgotten play.
